3 Act Play

​

Clarissa, wife of a diplomat, is adept at spinning tales of adventure, but when a murder takes place in her drawing room she finds live drama much harder to cope with. Desperate to dispose of the body before her husband arrives with an important politician; she enlists the help of her guests. They are interrupted by the arrival of wry Inspector Lord.

​

A conscious parody of the detective thriller, Christie delivers a unique blend of suspense and humour. There is tension and laughter in equal parts in an intricate plot of murder, police, drug addicts, invisible ink, hidden doorways and secret draws.

Play Week: Get-In 9th, Tech 10th, Dress 11th, performances 12th to 15th March, get out 16th March

Rehearsals are on Tuesdays & Thursdays 7.30pm till 9.45pm at JDB room (Starting from 21st November) + 1 Sunday rehearsal on stage (TBC)

​

To take part you must be a member of Rustington Players (£20 annual membership) and there is also a show fee of £15 per production. You DO NOT need to be a member to audition.
